Welcome to the classroom blog.  I currently teach Gr. 3 at Minesing Central Public School.  This is my 10th year at Minesing and my 20th year teaching!  I have 2 wonderful children one who also attends Minesing in Grade 7 and one who attends Grade 10 this year. We love to ski, camp, cook, learn and TRAVEL.   I am currently researching where our next adventure may take us. We have 2 kittens (Perseus and Iris).  I am passionate about teaching and this year I continue to look at ways to expand my teaching into the world of 21st century competencies, inquiry and outdoor learning as ways to create meaningful learning for my students.  I am very excited to be teaching with an incredible Grade 3 Team in our unique learning environment. We are embarking a learning journey by co-creating a learning environment with different types of learning spaces, co-teaching and lots of collaboration, mindfulness, connecting to nature and inquiry.  I am confident this is going to be an amazing concept for our students and I can’t wait to see what we can learn together!
